About Us
Doug Lynn, drummer & Crow, bass
Welcome to ALIVE & WELL. Although like all bands, personnel changes have occurred over the years, the group's current lineup is hands-down the best ever. The two original members of the band, drummer Doug Lynn and bassist "Crow", have provided the drive behind the group's rock-funk-blues material since the beginning. Both musicians enjoyed critical and popular success with other groups prior to their founding of Avenue B, and having been together for so long now, they are always on the same page.
Jim Rupert, lead singer
ALIVE & WELL's lead singer and front-man, Jim Rupert, has fronted several of the region’s best bands for more years than he cares to talk about. As a result of his vast experience, Rupert can vocally handle many different styles, which gives ALIVE & WELL the versatility needed to please almost any audience.
Harry Davis, lead guitar
The band's most recent addition, and the primary reason for the band's recent name change and the addition of new material, is the regionally legendary lead guitarist "Handsome" Harry Davis, also known as the "Top Gun" to other musicians throughout the area for his dazzling guitar work. The band is truly excited about Davis' contributions to the band's sound and is anxious to open up some new venues.
Every event organizer wants their special event to be truly unique and over the years different events have been organized utilizing the talents of ALIVE & WELL. We literally surround the event with music, creating an entertaining atmosphere that compliments any occassion. Our equipment is flexible enough to go as big or as small as the venue requires. We can accommodate big rooms, small rooms, indoors and outside events. ALIVE & WELL has just the right equipment to handle any type of event.

Rick with a long history on the local band scene,as great vocalist, and hot guitar player, Heard Jimmy Ruppert had an accident and would be out for awhile,agreed to fill in for Jimmy. Ricky fit right in,so we asked him to stay on Permanently,And he said I'm in. so it looks like Alive and Well will be a five
piece band from now on.

Big Ray, Sound and Light engineer. Ray being a Bass player himself (when not running sound and lights for us). Knows just the right sound.
